Leather stamps?

Okay, so this isn't much to do about sheaths specifically, but leather stamping. My two questions are, one; can you stamp already treated leather effectively and if so, where do you recommend customized leather stamps? I have a wallet that I want to imprint on. the design is not intricate. (in fact, it's the snake from my avatar/display picture.) I've seen the Infinity Stamps Inc. stuff, but i'm not sure. I'm happy to save up and fork out for it, too.

any opinions or ideas? Cheers and thanks in advance.

Edited to add, the snake itself would be impressed, rather than made to appeared raised out of the leather. Am I making any sense?

Brenda at Laser Gift Creations made my stamp and I'm sure she could do yours as well. As far as stamping leather that's already treated--sometimes you can, but it doesn't take the stamp very well. You'd probably be better off with a branding iron.
