Got my strop from Whittler Bob. One side is coarse leather that I applied .5 micron to. My Q is should I leave the finished leather side alone or apply something like mineral oil on it? So far it works great but, I wonder if I need to prep the smooth side with somthing? I did a search & came up empty. Thanks!
