Hey guys...

I've got a pair of work gloves that arent aging as well as I'd like...

What all can I use on them to revive the leather? I dont think they are buck hide... more then likely cow, but still I'd like to hold on to them awhile longer! What all natural oils can I use to liven them up? I'd like to stay away from silicone, but its not that big of a deal if thats the best choice.

I thought about using boot oil on them, but dont know about the transfer to garden tools! :D

I'm also trying to setup a bug out bag for the boat, so a saltwater/water resistant oil might help on that note :D

another nod for sno-seal. I wear the gloves, and rub my hands together over a heat source and apply the wax like skin lotion.

No good for cold weather though, too stiff and not very warm.

Neetsfoot oil is what I use. Boots and gloves and sheaths get a coat when new, just warm the item and apply liberaly, let dry. Changes the color a little. If already used, clean well, then dry and apply. Saddle soap for overcoats.
