Leather work update! Computer's down, trying to recover

Guys, if you have a sheath or sheaths on order from me, please note that my hard drive crashed and I'm trying to recover. 2 weeks ago, I made a backup, I'm restoring it now. After that's restored, I'll go through the last 3 weeks of emails to recover the work orders.

Any sheaths that were going out today, will be delayed a few days while I sort this problem out. . . My hard drive spins up, goes through the self diagnostic stage, then spins down again. I've installed a spare drive into the computer, have the old one in a USB Enclosure in the hopes that I can get it to spin up long enough to do a data dump, but it's not looking hopeful. . . . . If the drive isn't recoverable, all orders for the month will have to be figured out from emails. That will take quite a while to get through.

Please bear with me while I try to recover the data or rebuild. Even though, I have some backups, the most recent is from the 2nd. Yeha!

Thanks Jake! I've been slowly gathering parts to build a new computer for work. Got the hard drives, power supply and an old case so far. After figuring out that there was no hope for my old drive, I put one of the drives for the new computer into this one, then started rebuilding. Looks like I need to add a hard drive to my shopping list, again.

Got my files mostly rebuilt last night after other things were put back together, so I'm back to sewing this morning after breakfast. Thanks!

Thanks guys! My computer is up, running and sheaths are going out almost every day right now. I shipped 4 Friday and have more going out Monday. Work is progressing nicely!
