leather wrapped izula

did this before on a bk-11. wrap it with the leather wet to get it tighter then let it dry. then oil it with watco danish oil a couple of times. it will get a nice hard finish.
 
srry for the link. :) ..and thank you kreole. ;) .the picture is a tad to big though..hope its ok for everyone..after the coating wears off and the blade gets some patina, the leather will be much nicer i think.. :)

It looks really good. Can I ask, did you wrap it with the leather wet or dry?

i wrapped it dry and then applied a bit of rice oil...i applied a bit of oil also on the laser etched parts of the handle under the leather...dont know if its the best option, but it was close at hand and i can change the leather anytime..i bought this in an art shop..it was cheap...it is quite thin..about 1 to 2mm...
