Hello HI family! :)

I sent my khuk off to fellow BF member Leatherface of Azrael's Custom Leather a while ago for a kydex sheath. I decided to get a simple kydex quickdraw sheath that will primarily be put in my pack or lashed to my pack, but with a belt loop for the option of belt-carry since this is one of HI's smaller khuks. Leatherface did a great job on it! It's a simple basic kydex sheath that should serve me well for a while to come. So to delay no further, here are some pics for you to check out for yourself!

The fit of this sheath is a bit tight, but it's fine as I don't intend to belt carry it very often if at all. If I do feel like I need to carry it on my person for some reason down the line, I think I'll go have a thigh rig made up for it. As for this sheath, I'd rather the retention be on the tight end for added safety.

The finish of this sheath is good  The kydex is nice and thick at .093" (correct me if I'm wrong Dave) and feels sturdy. The quickdraw design works well, though as I pointed out already, the sheath is on the tight side (You can ask him to make it tighter or looser if you want ). I like that the belt loop is wide, it keeps the khuk stable if you put it on a belt. This loop accommodates a belt 1 7/8" wide. All in all, it seems to be a well designed and well constructed kydex khukuri sheath and I am very pleased with it :) I can't wait to take my khuk out in its new pants! :D

Very nice. I would have to say "elegant in its simplicity."
And the highest compliment of all.....I want one.
