Got a package from Leatherface today and wanted to share some of his work.
First a YCSK sheath with a reptile inlay (Snake?)
Then a Nessmuk that LF made.
Finally a very nice sheath for a 15" AK.

Good work!

Steve

Great work Dave. Your nessie really finished out nice. I'm impressed. You need my address???

LOL.

Thank you for sharing. The last peice was astounding to me, and I was already happy with the other two. (there is a time delay with dial up seeing pictures..)

Yup, Really nice work indeed!!!! The Nessies are starting to grow on me sort like the Grohmann(sp?) knife has over the years and I never owned one of them either.:o

Damn, Dave does beautiful work.

I still wear a pocket holster he made for me.

Those snake scales are super. Nice, Dave.

Very nice! Hey Steve, that makes at least 2 or 3 sheaths for that pretty carved horn YCS karda doesn't it? That is the best shod HI knife I have ever seen! :D

I really like that Nessmuk. I did not know Dave was also a knifemaker. Thanks for the neat pics.

Hi Norm,
I've got 3 of the YCS kardas in the same length, and amazingly, they all fit!:D So I've got a mix and match situation.

This is Dave's first knife, and he did pretty good!

M. Taylor, just email or PM Leatherface and he'll be glad to fix you up with whatever leather goods you need.

Steve

Thanks guy's glad ya like the sheaths...

The snake skin inlay is Mojave rattlesnake...

Taylor I have a sheath here with your name on it...Err it COULD have your name on it!;)

The "Messy" is a sweet knife...IT is all the more sweeter since Steve got ahold of it and cleaned it up a bit...I am going to switch to a thinner steel on the next ones I do...It does cut like the dickens!!

I am going to make a smaller version of the Nessy...Prolly a 70% version for easier carry...Granted it isnt a large knife by any means but it could do with a bit of shrinking

Norm...I really like making sheaths for the YCS Karda's...They are a sweet knife to play with in the sheath design...Steve has a prototype of my crossdraw (SOB) rig that I did...Hopefully he will post pics once he get's back from the beach

Thanks again guy's!!

Leatherface?

He did the same thing with the prototype SARGE knife. He turned rough into sweet.

If anyone is ever reincarnated as a knife, try to come back as one of Steve's. He'll treat you right.:D

Kismet,
I didnt know that Steve had a hand in the Sarge knife...I use one as my EDC pretty much when I have pants on...I really need to get another, one of these days

HOPEFULLY I can talk Steve into helping me with my latest crazy idea (Once i get the Nessy's done)...

6" wharncliff knife made from 1/4 in O-1 or D2 with some nice tuff scales..

and I will call it...

THE SHIRTRIPPER (tm)!!!!!!muahahahaha<~~evil laugh!!
