2012 Leatherman products. Anybody else thinking about Gerbers MP600, when youre seeing the flick-pliers?

Thanks for that. I love my Leatherman MTs, and am looking forward to the Rebar.
 
Im really looking forward to the Rebar, I dont quite know what to think about the one handed one. It seems alot like a gerber, but I would hope it would have a lot better quality because its leatherman, it seems like a good design but it depends on how its made, would love to see more hands on with that one. I really want to pick up a Wingman, ST 300 and a Rebar.
 
YES ONE HANDED. While I'm not really for the spring loaded, or slide opening pliers, I really wanted a one-handed wave style tool with removable jaws.
 
Very cool, thanks for the heads-up Polecat! I'm really digging the coyote tan cerakote on that OHT multi-tool.
 
Rebar has been on my radar since Leatherman released the prototype pics - now I think I like the OHT even more!

I hope they make a non-mil version (scissors instead of belt cutter) in stainless or gray Cerakote. . . . .
 
That OHT pretty much eliminates the last major reason to buy a Gerber over a Leatherman. I don't know how I feel about Leatherman using a design so closely associated with another company though, but Gerber long ago made "Leatherman" style tools so I guess what's good for the Goose is good for the Gander :D Always feels odd though, like S&W making 1911's or using full lug Python style barrels on the 686 series, just seems like some things you associate with a certain company.
