Leatherman certainly doesn't make them like this anymore.

Stumbled across one of these the other day:

No scissors, but then it does have individual screwdrivers instead of that interchangeable abomination.

More pics as soon as I can get them off my phone.

ETA: No date stamp on this puppy. IIRC that makes it pre-1992.

Have to agree. Considering weight, size, and function, definitely one of the best.

That's the Leatherman I grew up with. Recently a buddy of mine found me a ST200 in his toolbox and gave it to me for sharpening some knives, I remember thinking, "Oh, cool, a new Leatherman." lol I'm behind the times.

I almost wouldn't mind a ST100 instead though. Slimmer, and I don't like the locking latches. But the ST200 is still very nice

Best. Leatherman. Ever! I have one like that circa 1994. Has the black parkerized coating, which is almost completely worn off. I have no doubt that it will survive long enough for my grandchildren to hand it down to their grandchildren.

I have one of those too. I wasn't aware Leatherman stopped making them.

I never really did bond with it. When I use the pliers, the case digs into my hand. The blade was not very sharp, even brand new. I didn't like having to open it up to get the tools out, then close it again to lock them. But I do like that the screwdrivers have sharp corners, and that the phillips fits a #2 properly, instead of not fitting either a #1 or #2 properly, like the Vic phillips'. I also like the size and (lack of) weight, compared to the SwissTool. Also, the leather pouch is very compact and well-made; no silly velcro closures or nylon here!

I think I have one or seven of those as well.

I'm getting one of these off of "the auction site". I have a black Wave which I love, but is too heavy and bulky to carry, so it sits in my car. I bought a kick the other day, but after messing with it for a few minutes, realized that it just wasn't for me. These PST look perfect for EDC - simple, not bulky, and light.

That was the first model Leatherman tool I ever purchased and it can still do a day's work. While I carry the Charge these days, my wife EDC's her Leatherman Sideclip which is the same tool with a pocket clip attached, that she inherited from her late father.

I'm not sure where mine is but I have one too. Hopefully I still do anyway. But, I wasn't a big fan of it and I likely left it in a bag somewhere which I'll have to find and dig up along with my Mora craftsman and some other crap.
