Leatherman Charge for $77.50 !!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the prices at Botach are great if you can handle the shoddy service. It's almost a lottery with them and lord help you if you need customer support.

Great price, but I believe I'll stay away. Heard wayyyyyyy too many things about them. I'd rather spend $20 more dollars and buy from a reputable dealer.

True, they have the worst "rep" in the business but I'm sure some other outfit could match their prices and still provide decent customer service ???

What happened to all the competition this new era of internet commerce was gonna bring in !!

It seems most retailers just all form a big cartel and decide to sell goods at roughly the same price !!

The internet HAS brought not only competition, but minute by minute price cutting, shoddy service as mentioned above and has really hurt honest B&M dealers who do their best to provide good service.
I buy here and there from Spark because he has earned my respect for the forums and he gives good CS. But I also buy from B&M dealer who goes way and above in the service arena. Its worth it to support your dealer.

I saw that too but a bell rang faintly from seeing something in GB&U on this forum, sure enough plenty of thumbs down for them. The closest I could find and in stock was Cabela's. Like someone else said, for an extra 20 you know you are going to get what you ordered.

I ordered my Charge Ti from Amazon.com (a birthday present from my wife) since I purchase books and CD's from them frequently (all information already on file), and used the Super Saver Shipping (free shipping), so the final price was $99.99, no sales tax, no shipping charge.

They shipped it via FedEx on 8/12 and I received it 8/16... so I can't complain at all...

And I really like this new multi-tool !

I have a couple of Sog Paratools that I've owned for several years, but they pretty much just stay in my truck and car... I think I'll carry the Charge Ti on me a lot more than the Sog Paratool, since its so much easier to open the blades and everything locks up solid, and its a beautiful well-made tool !

I'm looking forward to getting some more tool bits, if they ever become available... an adaptor bit that could use conventional screwdriver-type bits available at hardware stores would be nice... but you may need another belt pouch to carry them.

PS... There's no gap in my needlenose pliers when closed like some owneres have reported here.
