I'm planning to buy one of these as soon as I can find a decent price for a used one, and was just wondering if the clip could be switched around to the left handed side or not. It's not a big deal since I plan to carry it in my off hand pocket (right side) the vast majority of the time, but thought it was worth asking anyway.

Oh, one other thing, on the one I handled in the local REI (the best local knife shop I know of, unfortunately-_-) the pliers were rather tight and didn't open and close particularly easily. I'm guessing that this was just a fault of their display model, and that especially with some militech they would open just fine?

The clip fits on just the one side. You can get one on ebay for about $5-10. The pliers are a bit stiff when new, lube 'em and use 'em and they'll loosen up.

Yep and yep! Right on all counts. It's a nice sturdy clip that locks in and removes easily, interchangable with a large lanyard hole attachment too. Very versitile!

I have been using one for only a few days, didn't bother lubing them and they loosened up right nicely anyway. Cut some chain link fencing today and it was easier than with my old Supertool. Love the clip, but it's really best in the right hand pocket.

Alright, thanks guys. I plan to carry it on my right side anyway, so it should work out find.

Thanks cougar, I'd forgotten there was a forum for this:P.
