I just recently got a Leatherman Charge Ti from a member here in a trade, the date codes are 1104 and 1204. As I checked it over, I found out the there are five-point Torx tamper-proof screws on one side, and six-point Torx tamper-proof screws on the other side.

Did Leatherman use both types of screws on this model? Anybody know where I can get the five-point bits so I can tighten it up when needed?

Thanks for the info. It's a great tool, and after the Surge and SuperTool 300, I've finally found one I'll keep. The other two were too heavy and/or had uncomfortable handles.

Thanks for the tool link as well.

You are welcome. Am glad the info was useful.
I've bought six LM Charge TTi's in 2010&11, besides the one I mentioned above which was the oldest. All others have "conventional" anti tamper T10 Torx heads.
For urban EDC the TTi is an excellent choice and leverages well with the bit and drive extender kits. I wish there were more alternate bits available for them :-( eg like full sets of Torx, Anti tamper Torx, Alen/Hex etc. and also an Awl. I ended up making my own.
Another LM tool that is sort of the black sheep and gets very little coverage is the Crunch. I think it is a great tool and can free up one hand like no other. It is relatively light too.
Am off my soap box now ... Cheers
