I am thinking of replacing my LM Wave with LM Charge TTI. Is the TTI stronger than the wave and is it a all around better multi tool? Let me know the advantages and disadvantages of the TTI over the Wave. I will appreciate as much feedback as you guys can give. Thanks again.

As far as I know, there's no reason to call the Charge "stronger. They're both built on the same basic frame and with the same pliers, etc.

My .02$ on Wave vs TTi:I like the upgrade in steel for the main blade on the TTi, the cutting hook is a nice addition, and I also like the scales althought that's just for asthetics really... OTOH I do not like the crimper in the pliar head. I gives up all the "flat" space so you cant do some things (ie twisting wire) and I've never wanted the crimper.

My choice would be the Ti since I'm fine with the 154cm and I want the more functional pliars more than the cutting hook.

Good luck choosing. :)

I'm trying to make this decision too. So far I am trying to figure out if the upgrade in blade steel is really worthwhile, given the fact that I already have a EDC knife, and that the 420HC blades on the Leatherman Supertool that I have work just fine. But those Charges look so nice!!! :)
