Just wanted to give a big thumb's up to Leatherman tool. On the 16th of June I sent my badly abused PST in for repair and today the 28th of June the UPS man handed me a new one. I am very happy and impressed. They know how to make their customers happy that is for sure.

A friend of mine broke a plier jaw on his PST using it as a prybar.
It was repaired free of charge.

The pliers stop working on my very old PST so I mailed it back to Leatherman for repair. I was surprised when I got a package from them. It was a brand new Rebar. I was very pleased.

Thread necromancy! This is from 15 years ago o_O

But I agree Leatherman customer service is top notch. They warranty a Leatherman wave I umm electrocuted the blade of during a failed DIY electrical repair attempt

I guess I can't say anything about Leatherman customer service. I had just sent back my squirt for a broken scissor spring, and it came back in a little under two weeks, a whole brand new tool. This is the second scissor spring my squirt broke, and each time, the tool was sent back in a veery short time, replaced without question.

Thinking about the mail time from Georgetown Texas to Portland Oregon, they couldn't have had my broken tool more than a day or two before sending out a new one.

I know people rail on old, old threads being resurrected but i am not one of those. I get great enjoyment reading way, way back as much of the info is to me informative, entertaining and in my opinion, timeless.
Only after the 4th poster brought it to my attention did i realize it was old. Then again its early and i am way, way behind on my coffee consumption.
And no I don’t stutter! :D

Old threads don't bother me. I hate it when I ask a question and get told to "Google It" or "Use The Search Button". Anyway...I sent in my Blast due to a broken tool lock and they sent me back a new Wave. Not the one with replaceable wire cutters but still a better tool than the Blast, in my opinion. Very happy customer here!
