I just bought this knife earlier today because it seemed like a really good deal... what can I expect, I can't see it being a bad knife because you know, it's a leatherman, they make some pretty good stuff. Is it's functionality good and all things related?

Thank You,
Steven.

i am looking at one on my desk now! not a bad knife nor a great one either but a perfect knock around one i call it that i dont mind beaten on because it sharpens fairly easy on my lansky.

i have a C304, handy for a EDC
if i HAD to say anything negative about it
>maybe bit thick for the pocket, thicker then my current EDC anyway
>that blade launcher isnt all that practical imo.

its always handy to have those extra utilities.

I did think it may be a bit thick for the pocket, as I have a Kershaw Leek currently as my edc. But I also have the nylon sheath for it, which the leatherman being the same size, should fit into the sheath right? The leek is a bit wiggly in there so there should be some room for it.

What about the metal? I've heard mixed things about the usefulness of the particular metal type(154cm) that's used to make the knife.

Have a k500x----good solid knife----my only complaints are the belt clip is on the wrong end(with no provision to move it) and it needs ambi thumbstuds.

The beltclip issue prevents it from being an EDC but its a good knife to clip on a pack or leave in the car.
