Leatherman Freestyle variations

I have two LM Freestyles that are almost identical. The color of the logo varies very slightly from one to the other, but all the other features seem to be the same EXCEPT for the pivot pin. I can't believe I even picked up on this, but the pliers pivot pins are firmly mounted in the opposite handles, when comparing one tool to the other. Laying both tools down with the logo side up, one pivot pin is fixed to the top handle and pivots in the bottom, and the other tool is the opposite. Has anyone else every noticed this variation? If you have a Freestyle, and you lay it down logo side up, in which handle is the pin fixed? Thanks, T-A
