I've done some searching but haven't been able to find any information on the Rockwell Hardness of blades (or tools) used by Leatherman. Can anyone here help with that?
Leatherman has 3 different blade steels they use: 420hc, 154CM, and S30V, and which steel is used greatly affects the price of the multitool. I'd like to know the hardness of the steels, so that I can determine whether it is worth it to pay for one of their more expensive multitools or not. If the S30V isn't hardened properly, or the 154CM, then it isn't really worth it to pay that much more money for those tools.
I'm hoping someone here has access to that information or can get it with an HRC tester.
