Leatherman Juice CS4 Alternative?

I have owned several multitools, but I always end up coming back to the Juice CS4. The only real reasons are the toolset and size. I recently lost my third CS4 ( I broke the other two...), and thought that I would check out the competition before I pulled the trigger on yet another CS4.

The main thing I need in a multitool are the following tools:

Pliers
Blade
Flat Head Screwdriver
Phillips Screwdriver
Corkscrew
AWL
Scissors
Can Opener
Bottle Opener

So far, the CS4 is the only tool I have found that has all of the above tools. Are there any others that I am missing? For me, the smaller/lighter the better as I EDC a multitool along with a whole bunch of other gear.

Thanks for the tip!

Part of me would like to try a new product (variety is the spice of life, no?). Especially because I find the fit and finish on the CS4 to be a little lacking. It is a great tool for the price point, but doesn't have the same feeling as, say, a SwissTool.

i agree about multi multitools :) i am a leatherhead though so i would stick with leatherman but thats just me
however if you have cash to buy a new tool i would go ahead and do that
if you have one or both of your cs4 even if you are getting a new multitool i would send them to leatherman and then you have a fall back in case of loss or further breakage

No question, the Swisstools may have an edge on f&f, also less likely to break under hard use, but that's more to do with being heavier duty tools with size and weight to match. The CS4 trade-off is an easier to carry weight/size format that may be unique in its category. I don't know of another multi-tool with similar specs and tool loadout.
In a way, that's a good thing. Sometimes life is too full of choices. :D

There isnt really anything to replace it with that has the same tools except maybe the Juice XE6. Did you look into that one?

I like the CS4 alot and carry one quite often.

I ended up finding it. I'll definitely be keeping it in my rotation even if I get another tool.

Good point. The CS4 is hard to beat in terms of tools, size, and weight. It's pretty much perfect in these regards. Maybe I'll buy others for different occasions. I suppose I can convince myself that I need a glovebox tool. :D

The XE6 is nice, but its hard for me to justify buying one when a CS4 has all of the tools I want for less money, size, and weight. I scoured the net and looked at Victorinox, Wenger, SOG, Gerber, and other Leathermans. I think the CS4 might be the only game in town for my specifications. The only thing I have found that is close is the Victorinox Hercules. I had one, but it was too thick for a tool of its type. The pliers were pretty useless too. No wonder I've been carrying CS4s for over three years...

The CS4 has a good toolset, but I could never get past the flimsy blade. Felt like it would snap right off. I like a stronger, one-hand operating blade, even if it is redundant to a separate, primary carry blade. YMMV.

I never use it for more than light EDC stuff. The heavy work is for my main EDC blade. Still, I find the CS4's blade quite useful. Certainly no less useful and strong than any other slip-joint folder of the same size. I can't fit a Charge TTI in my jeans watch pocket, either. :p

Not many MT with corkscrews and pliers.

Might be able to find a Vic Atlas

Combine it with a Classic for the scissors?

I just got a CS4 and first time I tried to open the screwdrivers, I ended full of cuts on my fingers. I don't remember having such problems with the Micra and Squirts, or even with cheap multi-tools that I bought on various occasions. For sure, I never had this problem with any Victorinox / Wenger knife.

When I look at the tools, like cissors and blade, I feel like I have in my hands one of these cheap chinese copy of a swiss knife. So far, on the long term, I won't swap Victorinox for Leathermann !
