I just bought a Leatherman Juice KF-4 (Solar Yellow). I normally only carry tactical knives, but this one was calling my name. I was surprised when I logged on to the net to check the price! I bought mine at the BX at McGuire AFB in NJ for $48.00, but almost everyone else is selling them for around $68.00. What's the deal? I thought the net guys were always cheaper than everyone else. Anyway, how many others out there carry a Juice? Great design and very compact.

I picked up an s2 at the local Farm and Fleet.$36- which I thought was a pretty low price.I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I do.I had even thought about giving it away as a present, but instead carried it on Christmas eve.It got alot of use helping to open kids presents, clipping the wires that held toys in the boxes, and opening the battery cases on lots of toys. All of my relatives that got to use it thought it was neat.

That's funny, cause I got mine the other day and did the dame thing. We celebrated X-Mass a few days late cause I was working (military duty). I used the pliers to cut zip strips holding stuff in thier boxes. It would have been a great gift for someone else but oh well. I got lots of compliments from the guys today in roll-call. They all want one now. Funny comming from a bunch of tactical knife nuts! They asked if the Juice came in different colors so they could accessorize.

Got the purple one as a Christmas present for my brother (don't remember which model # but it is the one with the most stuff in it) and he said he was using it the first day. He used the screwdriver to get into his computer case. He said the tool he will have the most use for is the serrated blade. He teaches search and rescue planning for the govt. and also carries a Wave. He said he now needs a pouch for it to carry on his belt. I'm thinking about getting one too now!

I recently acquired the S2 and really like it. It can be just dropped into a pocket or carried in a belt pouch. Some of us have discovered that the SAK small leather pouch fits it almost perfectly. Just bunch up a piece of paper and shove it down into the pouch, since otherwise, the Juice drops a bit too far into the pouch. Good luck with it.:)

I recently (Friday) picked up a Juice CS4. This thing is the most most practical Leatherman model I have ever seen. The weight (5 oz.) is less than many regular pocket knives and the overall size is so small that I see no need to carry it in a pouch except to scales the scales nice and pretty. This is the first Leatherman design that really competes with the medium sized SAK likes the Supertinker as a pocket tool kit. I think this would really be great for travel, whether in the pocket or stuffed in baggage since it has all the tools and takes up much less space.

I got the Inferno for Christmas, and I really like it. I think that the corkscrew will definately come in handy for New Years!

Using Leatherman's Tool Comparison chart, I see the Yellow and Purple Juices are much shorter and lighter than the Wave, let alone than my original Supertool. Going for the Yellow KF4, I would give up the scissors of the Purple XE6, which I can live without (not to mention the useless corkscrew -- I bite the tops off bottles, anyway). Too bad I couldn't trade one of those knife blades for a scissors!

Do the tools lock and how well do the can openers and the awls work compared to the Victorinox SAKs?

The tools don't lock, but do snap into place very well and tight. The awl is great, but mine doesn't have a can opener. I wish it did. Other than the missing can opener I love my KF 4 (yellow).

i usually hate multitools and on the job i have a big tool box filled with the "right tools for the right job" but there are those times when just a simple multitool will work and the Juice is perfect. I bought the S2 (the orange one) for my birthday and it rocks. I love that it is small and i figure that if I need anything bigger than the juice, I should probably be using a regular tool. The juice is pretty much the only Multi tool I would ever carry due to it's size. bottom line is that it rocks!

I recieved an S2 for Christmas, this tool is great! It finally replaces the medium SAK I've carried for years. If I need something more robust, I have other Leatherman tools, or I can just get the real thing at that point. The blades operate similar to the std SAK with just the spring tension holding them open, very nice.

I bought an S2 just before xmas....I already retired it for the XE6....I wanted the file and awl that the S2 doesn't have. I think the "Juices" are Leatherman's best tools to date. I just love their compact size, if I need more "tool power" I get the real thing. I figure if a big Super Tool or Swiss Tool is too bulky to carry what good is it?

I put an XE6 in my travel / overnight bag. Haven't used it yet, but I already like a LOT more than the Leatherman PST it replaced.
