So I haven't had a multi-tool in like 10 years. The last multi-tool I had was a leatherman, and I think it was the Micra. I decided to buy me a couple small ones for EDC. I bought me the squirt ps4 and the juice S2. Well when I opened up the juice the pliers were extremely tight. It was as if they had been glued shut they were soo tight. The phillips and the flat head attachments are also very tight. I spent about an hour lubing them up in an effort to loosen them. This hasn't worked.
Are multi-tools suppose to be tight? Like i can understand them being a little tight at first, but this Juice seems to be a little too tight. I have broke the nails on both of my thumbs trying to loosen the phillips and flat head! The pliers are still pretty tight and haven't really loosened up too much.
I was wanting some feedback from ya'll here to see what you thought and any ideas you might have for me. I am thinking about just sending them into Leatherman to have them fix them or do whatever it is they do. I wish I could just let you guys feel them so that you knew exactly what is going on with them.
Here is a picture of it. I really like Leatherman and don't have any problems with them. I just want to be able to use it without needing a pry-bar to open the attachments with.
