Leatherman Juice S2 thickness?

I have been a long-time user of a Leatherman PST and one that tends to prefer pocket carry. Earlier this year I decided to upgrade and traded for a Wave here on BF. I managed to carry it for about three weeks before relegating it to desk duty around the house; compared to the PST, the Wave is simply too bulky for my tastes.

Well, I'm back in the market for an "upgrade" and for the life of me, I can't seem to find any concrete info regarding the thickness of any of their offerings. I see this new LM Super Tool 300 and it certainly looks thinner than the rest of their full-size tools... alas, it lacks the one tool I was looking to upgrade to -- scissors.

Though I would prefer a full-sized tool, all of those which I have been able to find and check out at the local brick & mortars have proved to be every bit as thick as the Wave.
Looking at the pocket-sized tools, it seems like the Juice S2 would fit my bill, though...

DON'T LIKE PREFACES? SKIP 'EM!
So, any chance someone could measure the thickness of their Juice S2 for me?

Thanks in advance!

Measuring "free hand" with a ruler (I don't have calipers):

7/16" on one side and 1/2" on the other side. (The side with the scissors is one "layer" thicker than the other side).

I definitely do NOT like a bulky pocket carry, and I have been EDCing a Juice S2 for three or four weeks now. I never carried a multitool before, always preferring SAKs. I do like the Juice, though.

Full disclosure: I also EDC a Vic midnite minichamp (the new one with the white LED) on my key ring and so I have some tools with the minichamp that the Juice doesn't have, making the combination of the two just about right for my needs).

Ahh, excellent; thanks for checking both sides, Tcolling!
It sounds like it will be just a bit thicker than the PST, but well under the near 3/4" of the Wave.

Wow, the PST must have been really slim. I don't know, for I never had one.

Not quite as thin as I thought it was; after breaking out the ruler, it too measures out to be 7/16" deep.

Sounds like the S2 is the winner, thanks again for the assistance.

For the reccord the XE6, the largest Juice measures about 0.75" wide.

I was going to get the S2, but at the last minute i was beguiled by the serrated blade, saw and awl.

I was a bit horrified when it first came, it's rather chunky.
But It carrys surprisingly easily, and i've used every tool on it. :)

I just acquired a (no longer in production) KF4. It's pretty thick. I can't imagine one as thick as the XE6 (but I may have to buy one some day anyway... must resist... resistance is futile... )

Although slim enough for pocket carry, my problem with the PST is those sharp-edged fasteners Leatherman used on its pivots, and still does on some models. They abraid cloth and in time wear holes. In that regard, the Juice is much more pocket friendly.

I don't know why they didn't use flat or rounded fasteners instead, like those found on the Sideclip.

Yea, those are a bit jagged. Can't say I've had any problems with them wearing holes in my pockets, though.
