This is my first post - I've been reading the forum for some time and have always found it to be an unparalleled source of information.

I've just recived the Leatherman Juice (Flame, S2) and I must say that I'm a little disappointed - perhaps it's because of all the hype surrounding the Juice range. My main gripe is with the scissors. I find that they cut a kind of ragged line. I have a Wenger SAK with a very similar pair of scissors but the cut with them - on an ordinary sheet of paper - is infinitely more clean and precise. Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm also a lttle disappointed with the knife blade - two little nicks on the edge, which I suppose are insignificant but still kind of annoying on a brand new tool. As is the fact that the pivot on the pliers is scratched up on both sides.

I almost wonder if I've been sent someone else's return. It came rattling around in its box with an information sheet but with no other packaging.

I've read nothing but positive posts on the Juice so it would be interesting to hear if anyone else is less than deleriously happy with theirs.

I love my blue Juice. Everything locks tight, and nothing was damaged when I got it. The sissors are not perfect like you say, they don't really cut a straight line. Other then that it has to be the best multi-tool I have ever held.

I checked 'em out at the Blade Show West..., and did notice some inconsistencies in alignment and function on the models they had as "Demos". It does look like a slick idea, and I'm gonna keep my eye on them. Nice compact design!
