Leatherman lanyard??

I recently learned that the Leatherman has a lanyard loop hidden under the saw. Just slide it forward. I had no idea about this before. Both my old Charge Ti and my new Surge have this feature. Am I the only one who didn’t know?

I removed the add-on loop (I still have it somewhere) and have used the built-in one since.

Is it not strange?? I have joined Swedish FB-groups with collectors and users. Some of them build their own leatherman from parts. Enthusiasts like we. Nobody have realized the small hidden loop. My Charche is from the first year. Have used it muuucch, and often wondered why I need to choose between lanyard and clip. Well ...
