Just wondering what people use for lube ,if any, on their leatherman. I always use WD-40 on my charge ti and I works good enough. Just bought a skeletool cx and the pliers are very stiff. Any suggestions?

Whatever is handy, usually WD 40 or 3-In-1 because they are close to hand. I have what seems to be a lifetime supply of both, judging from the number of years (decades ) they have been sitting on my shelf and still plenty left. On occasion have also used Liquid Wrench, motor oil, mineral oil, stuff I don't remember, but the one thing I consistently do is apply it very sparingly and seldom. All blades and implements work smoothly, and there has been no corrosion on anything yet.

If something is really "sticky" - spitball or some scillicone based fishing reel grease applied very sparingly to the pivot area seems to work... - otherwise WD-40 or a drop of crankcase oil off the dipstick in a real emergency!
Peace

WD40 everytime. I took a rusty, tackleboxed swisstool that I couldn't even open, soaked it in some heavy coats of wd40, an got it working and looking good as new.

I like Breakfree CLP.

It has teflon in it, so you get long lasting dry lubrication. Also, it does pretty well for rust resistance as well.

I have not been impressed by Militec 1.
