Reason #74 why I prefer the Leatherman Micra over any other key ring tools.

Zip Ties.

Working on a quick project this am. The Opinel N9 (RFP) cleaned up my crap carpentry quickly and when an offending zip tie got in the way of fitting something, a quick reach into my LFP fetched out the Micra and *SNIP* it was gone. Well within the ability of the Micra's powerful scissor/shears. My (long ago busted) Vic Classic couldn't have done that.

This is a little gross but you can snip ties with it...and my wife....after finding out there's a nail cleaner tool. She grabs it from my bag to pick out her toe jam before painting her nails.
 
The Micra is a good one, no doubt. For heavier duty, like zip ties, the scissors rock. For fine, detail work like skin boo boos, the Classic's scissors are superior.

Bowing to peer pressure, I'll carry one of my Micras today. :thumbup:
