leatherman micra "blade play"

I just purchased a new LM Micra and there is a substantial amount of play between the scissor blades, they overlap at the tip when closed all the way, and it does not close squarely. I was wondering if this is the quality I should be expecting for the retail price or might I have just gotten a bad one. If you guys have any experience with this feel free to chime in. Thanks.

Mine also overlap at the tip. I'm not sure what you mean by not closing sqarely, but mine have worked for everything I've needed them for and I'm sure yours will too.
 
I'm not sure why yours doesnt' close squarely, but expect a certain amount of scissor blade overlap when folded. The scissors usually do have a slight amount of play but so do alot of scissors that don't fold. I'm sure that they will put up with whatever you throw at them.

what i mean by closing squarely is when im moving it into a closed position i have to align the handles so it will close all the way and not get stuck on the rest of the tools.
