leatherman Micra or sog cross cut

come on guys this is importent

I know my micra has scissor play. I dont know if sending it in for warranty might get a tighter set...

I also have craftsmans version. Its not quite as small but the scissors are much sturdier. Plus if I ever need to, I just take it into sears and they give me a new one and I dont have to worry about sending it off to get warranty work...

I couldnt find the craftsman on their website so when I get home I'll look it up by the part number

I can only speak of the LM Micra. I purchased one for the wife after she destroyed a small keychain Swiss Army knife. I have one as well, but she uses her LM a lot since it is her only cutting tool. The scissors hold up to cutting plastic wire ties, price tags, coupons, pruning plants, cutting finger nails, etc. The tweezers are useless. All in all, not a bad little tool.

My wife has used her micra for years (mainly the scissors) and loves it. I have one also and like the scissors but I use my sak more. IMHO Victorinox scissors are the best.

Personally I prefer Sog over Leatherman, so I got my wife the Crosscut a couple of years ago, a fine investment - still going strong.
