Leatherman Mod: Fuse w/ Saw

I could'nt stand it anymore. I had to have a saw on this tool. The mod turned out great. Those bushings are a pain in the a@# to get back on. Granted it's not a BO saw, but what the hell.

Nicely done. It really irks me that the smallest Leatherman tool with a woodsaw is the Blast, makes no sense.

What technique did you use to disassemble the tools?
 
I used two Gerber blunt nose tools. That's what I use every time. I find them easier on the knurled screws because the Gerbers grip in near closed postion which allows me to use less pressure squeezing the handles. So, if I slip off the screws don't get damaged.
 
when i tried to add a combo blade to my small letherman kick, (from the PST) i had a right pain trying get the blots of the side. used pair of large pliers, and another letherman.

unforchantly it didn't work it, as the 'bolt whole' was in the wrong place and cause the knife to be askew.
