Super tool for its size and strength. Wave for its versatility. The PST because it's the original and still a useful tool. I often carry mine because it's light and sleek enough to carry on a pocket.
These are the Leathermen I actually use, although some of them seldom. The original Super Tool, my true EDC for 9 years, has been replaced with a Super Tool 300, and the PST with the Rebar. Sometimes, though, I take the PST if I am bound for venues that don't permit locking blades (England), or the original ST because it fits a NiteIze pouch that I like to use better than the ST 300. If I had to limit myself to 3, however, those would be ST300, Charge TTi and Micra. But that's this season.
I like to have my tool have access to the blades while the tool is closed.... And I like the older dedicated screwdrivers vs the swap out bit newer versions. Yeah I know about the TTI being that way.
If they all had spring loaded pliers and scissors there wouldn't be a bad choice really
Had a wave since the original, loved it until a month ago when I got an OHT while traveling for work and didn't check luggage (great time and excuse to pick up a new tool), grabbed a black OHT and fell for it due to one handed operation and spring loaded plier. If it had scissors I wouldn't even look at others.
Can't go wrong with the Juice.... but in a totally different category than the squirt. The Squirt is more a novelty to me while the Juice has been so useful to me.
Love my new Surge!! The 300 is awsome, & now the SIGNAL. All about personal preference. Obviously I like BIG STRONG TOOLS! One of my favourite things is having a multi-tool which is big enough to project from your closed fist in fully closed status. Projecting from both ends of your fist. In this mode you can easily break a car window or most other glass & bust heads extremely well in either forward thrust or backhand stab. It generally makes a VERY positive impact for you!
