Finally picked one of these up. So far I'm really liking it.

If you've been on the fence about getting one, go get it, definitely a nice piece.
 
I just picked up a tan one - not impressed with the quality it comes out of the package. The tan ones all seemed like they were used in a mechanics workshop for a bit then packaged up the scales are oily and dirty. All of them I could see on the shelf looked similar and I figured they were going for some sort of distressed look with the tan, upon opening however I found that its just oily and dirty. Anyone else have this issue? The function of it seems to be a-ok though one hand function works well etc.

Mine was very clean and in very good shape.

Did you do a youtube review mate? I heard that exact same thing about the scales on there :D
 
When these become more widely available, and market forces help get the price down a little, I'll pull the trigger. Though I am itching to get one - just because.
 
Yeah, I plan on getting one of the brown ones soon.

It sure is taking a while for them to make it to dealers though.
