Ive got a leatherman pulse that acts a bit wierd. the tools in with the file some times are real tight and other times come out real easily. Ive noticed that when i open the tools, the pivot going through them will turn a little with them... not at the same pace but ill see them turn a bit. What should i do? should i send it to them ya think or can i fix it

Sounds like the pivot pin is bent. As it rotates it will sometime increase the friction between the tools and the handle as the bend goes inward. As the bend rotates outward the opening gets easier. This is just a theory based on what you are saying.

Do you think you might have put undue pressure on the pivot pin? I'm not sure if you can fix it yourself but if there's a way I'm sure someone here knows it. Otherwise send it in.

Good luck!

I sent three LMs back for repair last month. They returned three new ones for no charge. It took 2 1/2 weeks. I can't say enough good things about their service.
