Finally got all the parts and finished a project I've had on the backburner for quite a while.
A leatherman charge ALX with the replaceable cutting jaws from a leatherman rebar. I've seen this done a couple times before with the TTI versions but it usually takes some modification of internal parts (grinding the plier head down, removing tools, modifying tools) the ALX model required no modification and as you can see fully closes with no gap.
Now I'm just trying to track down flathead barrel bolts to replace the knureld one's that come from the factory and this will be my ultimate everyday carry tool.
