I saw this, but i am not seeing it come into play on my Charge TTi that is a couple of years ago (need to check the manufacture code in the grips still).
I think the Bond is WAY WAY WAY more dangerous. I regulated angrily threw with a bandaged hand into the beach cooler because that blade will 100% shake loose enough to bite you.

Phew!!! My Charge Plus TTI does not have any proud tips.

That Proof of Purchase requirement disqualifies me, since I inherited mine without the original receipt.

I seriously doubt he saved the receipt anyway ... or would know where it was in his final 10 months, if he had saved it.
Alzheimer's Dementia started affecting his mind.

On the "plus" side, he never reached the point of not remembering where his room was ... where he sat for meals ... mistake a pantry for a bathroom ... or get violent ... unlike a couple that are current residents here.
(one for 4 years and counting. Shame his wife passed first. He asked "where is she?" and "when is she coming back?" for 3 years after she passed. She was a resident here, as well. She was a nice person ... and still possessed a functional thinker.)
