I have been looking at getting a new EDC multi-tool and want a leatherman juice. I have noticed lots of people have complained about the sheath falling off or breaking. Have any of you guys and gals ever had these kinds of problems with the juice sheaths or are they good?

If you are referring to this flavor, mine has been first rate.

ive had several leathermans and ive never had any problems. and they have an amazing warranty and really nice customer service. im sure if you had issues they could help you resolve them .

The handles don't line up even though just so you know. I've had 3 different S2 versions and none of the handles lined up. I called Leatherman about it and was informed the were not made to as one side is thicker then other.

I know I think it would be better if they threw in a good file to even out the handles

Yea the uneven handles bug the crap outta me! The sheath I've personally only used a few times as I normally just toss tool in my pocket.

From pretty much the beginning, I thought the uneven thickness of the handles, along with having to open the combi tool to access the scissors, was just another little quirk in an otherwise quirky multi-tool. In my opinion, it adds a bit of "personality" to the Juice, actually kind of charming :D .

One of these sheaths came packaged with a CS4 I picked up last year. Even though it seems well made, I've never used it because I am wary of an open clip for attachment. At some point those things usually work their way off my belt, no matter how careful I am  . Nothing ever got lost, but a few close calls were enough for me.

I'm super active and I found that in every stock leatherman sheath I have had my knife would fall out if I jumped around too much. This bugged me so I just bought an aftermarket one to hold my leatherman tighter
