Hey partners, today I was doing some late Christmas shopping as we are having a late gift exchange since this is the weekend that my in laws could get together. As I'm shopping I can't help but notice a Leatherman Skeletool just screaming at me while I'm at Academy. I have a little extra to spend so I grabbed one.

BOOM!!! This thing is awesome. I own and regularly carry a Leatherman Blast on my duty belt but this thing is great for EDC. It can be carried with the pocket clip or carelessly latched on with the caribiner hook. I like the compact size and that it weighs almost the same as my Sebenza. I've always liked having a multi tool with pliers on me but ever since I set my Blast on my duty belt it's not worth the hassle to remove it at the end of a shift.

This will easily be a part of my EDC which will include the Leatherman Skeletool, Sebenza, mini bic lighter, wallet/swisscard, iPhone 5, Ruger LC9, Badge, and keys.

I'm sure this is old news but I had to share, J.

I've loved and lost several Skeletools over the years. Your gonna love it. I think they are the best medium duty MT on the market. If I can't use it I need a specific tool anyway. I got a CX for Christmas and can't be happier. Been pining for one for a long time.

Since we opened gifts today at my in laws I was able to put the blade and bit drivers to use opening and fixing toys for the little ones. Great tool and it's already earning its keep

I've got a few multitools within reach but my Skeletool CX goes with me every day, being the easiest to carry and get so many jobs done. Frankly, these days I use the knife more than anything else, which saves me from carrying a larger folder unless I really want to.

It is a great tool but watch that pocket clip. It is long enough that it catches easily (I lost one that way) I use the carbineer now. It is a great tool for sure, I used it the most of all my Leatherman's.
