I have a skeletool in my EDC emergency pouch, about a week ago I had a cable break on the driver seat adjustment " thingy" in the family mini van and the driver seat was stuck in one position, grabbed the skele out of the pouch and fashion a quick fix out of a paint can handle I had laying around. While using the pliers of the skeletool one OF the jaws completely broke off. It was a soft metal I was bending off the paint can and I was not applying much force which made it commical when it happened. Sent it over to leatherman and with great fast custom service got a new one. THANKS:thumbup:

This happened to me on a Core several years ago. No fast custom service but they eventually sent me a new Core a couple of months later. I bought a Swiss Tool in the interim....

I have a Orig Super Tool that is GREAT but my confidence in Leatherman as a whole is shaken.
