I like these LM sizes for pocket carry, but hate the way the scales look after they've been used! Has anyone ever tried just taking all the color off and polishing up what's underneath? I think I'm about to buy some used/confescated cheap Squirts off of ebay and give it a try! Any thoughts on how I should go about this?

If you have a buffing wheel I would use that. If you have a dremal you could use the soft wheel.. Just don't use any thing to abrasive. I have been wanting to do this myself to my Juice. So let me know how it goes! :D

Has anyone borrowed some clear nail polish from their girlfriend/wife/daughter/significant other and tried painting the handles of their nicely-colored multi-tools...? I'd think that a clear coating of nail polish would successfully protect a multi-tool's handles for quite awhile, while still allowing the tool's actual colors to be seen.

That might be another thing to test and experiment with.

I just ordered a KF4 (bright yellow) off Ebay- I'll keep you posted. I don't have a dremmel tool, so I'm still deciding what to do to take all that yellow off!

You Americans. Always in a hurry. Leave it alone. It will fall off by itself.
