Anyone have any experience with this cool little tool? Wondering just how tough such a little tool can be. Will it hold up to use it's likely to encounter in a stressful situation? Thanks for any info you can offer.

The P4 is a good micro tool. My favorite. It's still a micro tool though. There isn't as much metal to back up the pliers for really hard use as compared to the standard line of Leatherman. Nothing locks. Because the handle is small, the pliers are spring loaded to open back up. That's a nice touch.

I like it in combination with the Micra as a good lightweight set. Small and convenient when the bulk and weight of more is overkill. I think they make an excellent backpack set.

The P4 awl is the best shaped Leatherman awl IMHO and sharper too than the Juice awls. If you mostly want a small pliers, small file, small awl, then it's a good addition to your kit. If you want more, you'll have to combine it with another tool, or buy a bigger multitool.

Cuter than hell! The best designed miniature plier IMO. I have the SOG Crossgrip which is a solid first runner up and also Leatherman Micra tool and Schrade mini plier as well as the Swiss mini tool and the Utilikey.

The P4 is one that you can actually use and it has enormous gadget appeal. My only gripe and this is very minor, is that I wish it had tweezers. Also the anodizing wears off quick from rubbing on other items in my pocket. But the compact design and well made tools make this one an absolute winner in my book.

I'm hoping to get a P4 Squirt soon. As a moonlighting musician, it's got exactly what I've been looking for - little pliers and screwdrivers to tinker with my gear, plus a caplifter for beers and a few other goodies. Top that off with Leatherman quality, design and customer service and ... well, let's just say I can't WAIT for my birthday! This, plus the larger folder that I'm usually carrying, and I'll have all bases covered.

Thanks for the replies. I liked the looks of the tool right off and it will compliment my original Leatherman very well. When our local Target gets the P4 in, I'll get one.
