I received a ST200 as an early Christmas/Bday present from my wife last week and it has now replaced my SOG TiNi Powerlock for everyday EDC. The SOG is a great multitool that is built like a tank on steroids, but I decided to go back to Leatherman for my multitool needs. (Started using LM products back in '89)

I carried the older model SuperTool, before the SOG, and the ST200 is definitely an improved and refined version over the original. Anyone who is considering a new multitool, I highly recommend the SuperTool 200!! ;)

Not to take anything away from SOG, however, the Powerlock is a great multitool as well. IMO, you cannot go wrong with either one of these two on your belt. :D

ROTFLMAO!!

Hey, give me a break, I did mention that the SOG is a great tool....don't have anything but good things to say.

I came pretty close to carrying both myself. ;) :D

What a great gift!!!
I have always liked Leatherman tools and I currently use the Super Tool 200. It great for heavy duty stuff and the lock release is much easier to use than the standard Super Tool.
Merry Christmas!

I will be opening mine tomorrow. Only thing I asked for this Christmas.
I notice that I don't use most of the tools on the Wave, plus it's sitting here with broken pliers, since I keep forgetting to send it in for replacement. Really just needed a stronger version of the old PST (back to using it, since killing the Wave), with more comfortable handles, and locking tools.
The SuperTool 200 seems like it will be perfect for me, and the replacement Wave will stay in the house, where those "extra" tools seem to get the most use.

I'm a hardcore Leatherman fan. . .user. . .abuser ! :D

I have a SuperTool (tactical version. . .all black. . .LOL) in my truck, in the pouch of my motorscooter, in the wifey's van, in my daughters car, and two in the house.

Can't beat them ! And. . .I only paid $25 per. . .

Was in a store the other day. . .and saw the ST200. Very nice indeed ! Had to pass though. . .the ST200 was $52 and the Wave was $60. Besides. . .already have my fair share of multi-tools. ;)

KBR...Since you seem to be on a "Leatherman kick" right now, I have an old-style LM SuperTool and a LM Micra that I'd trade for your TiNi SOG PowerLock, as I've always wanted one of those. Both of these LM tools are "like-new".:).

Sorry, Dann. I gave my SOG to my father-in-law, along with some cash, for a military version M1911A1 pistol that he was selling. He'd been admiring that TiNi multitool for the longest time, and although I did think of trading it off, he laid this offer in my lap and I couldn't let it pass by.

Thanks for the offer, though. ;)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! :D

**Edited to add**--The SOG Powerlock is a great tool. In the end, I was just more comfortable with a Leatherman.
IMO, you can't go wrong with either of these two brands for your multitool needs. ;)
