Has anyone heard anything lately about when the Leatherman Surge is likely to be available?

Another Thread said it would be September but Leatherman still does'nt have anything on their main WEB Page. The last time I checked the Surge and Core are still not on the Products page, only on the intranet for Buyers. I would like to get a hard time for both the Surge and the Core! If anyone out there has it please pass it along!

Sorry! Just went to Leatherman's Site and I guess as of today they (Core & Surge) are now on Leatherman's Product page! Says coming this Fall for both tools! And yes I plan to buy both of them!

These two are very cool. I'm thinking Core right now just because I have the "new" Wave.
The only thing about the Surge is, they still saw fit to put those "eyeglass screwdriver" bits on the tool.

WHY?

Has anyone found a use for them? Maybe I'm missing something

Complete waste of space. I would rather have another tool, like an awl, as to have the eyehlass screwdriver.

do they made a mistake?they said the core had Stainless steel with bronze and steel brushings but not the surge??

About 2 months ago, I downloaded the PDF INFO Sheets on the Core and Surge and saved them to my desktop. So now when I want to lust for them, I just click on the one I want to look at.

Check out the PDF for the Surge. It says that it will include bronze bushings.

thx!the PDF is clear!but why dun LM mention that in their product materials scetion??

btw,i think LM will install the bronze bushing in all their new tools...

No problem, ckl. I think they should definitely start putting bronze bushings on all their multi-tools. It helps tremendously while opening the tool.

I think you'd have a hungry audience of field-testers here if you ever needed some pre-release feedback on new products! :D

I have tried everywhere online and no go.

Downloading is not unusual but copying the PDF and carryiong it for a week in your wallet is. :p And I am not sorry for it. The voices told me to be strong.

Leathermanrep? Are you planning to make a black oxide finish model on the Surge and the Core???
