I was watching H2 last night and Leatherman ran a Commercial several times, good job Leatherman. I like to see my favorite MT Company on TV.

Very cool. To bad it probably only plays on H2 though. You never really see Leatherman commercials, but they have been on TV over the years.

thats pretty cool actually you don't actually see any adverts like that here in the UK. (people probably get too scared over here thinking it will turn their kids into serial killers or something) but that's good to see that some places you can advertise something with a sharp piece of metal and not have the parents in uproar.

Maybe it's just me, but I think of multi-tools as pliers and tools first, and suspect most USians do also. A blade as only one of many implements isn't as scary as a dedicated folding knife, therefor less or even unlikely to ruffle anyone's tutu. In more than 20 years of carrying multi-tools on my belt, I have never once in any company provoked anxiety, and the only comment I ever got was from someone who said it inspired him to do likewise. I believe the main reason Leatherman commercials are seldom seen on broadcast TV is they are usually targeted toward specialty audiences, like outdoors or DIY enthusiasts, so the interwebs are probably the best venues, also cheaper.

You on are spot on with your thoughts, the commercial is for Father's day, shows an old man fishing with his son and uses the pliers to get a fish hook out. It is a good commercial and shows what a Leatherman is all about.
