I bought the sheath directly from Leatherman when I bought my first Fuse. I got it because I did not like the leather sheath that came with it. I got it not even seven days after I bought the fuse, and carried it in this sheath, and it is so much better. After I upgraded to the new Wave, I stuck with this sheath for it also. Now the website says it works for the original wave tool, but it works great for this too, which the only draw back is it doesn't have the pockets for the bit kit, and you can't carry it in open position, but that is ok. The original nylon sheath looks nice, but there were some things I didn't like about it. One was the stretchy sides, which I know are intended to be used to carry a mini maglite, but still afraid they will rip in time, and I would lose my wave. Second is the fact the tool is open at the bottom of the sides, and the bottom hole(for open carry). Don't get me wrong, the open hole on the bottom for open carry is good if thats what you do, which I don't. The things that I don't like about the holes are the fact that dirt gets into the pivots joints easily. The other day, i thought I would be fair and try the original sheath, and when I got home, I mowed the yard and all that, and when I took the tool off, I could see where dirt and grass and leaf clippings got into the pivot point on the pliers, and gunked them up, so I cleaned them. I have carried this in the universal sheath, and can't say enough good things about it. It is extremely tough, keeps my tool clean and dry when working in wet and dirty environments, and takes a beating at work. I can't say enough good things about the universal sheath. I highly recommend buying one when getting a wave, charge or any smaller tool like a fuse, core or kick.

Bottom line of the review is this. The Sheath itself is basic, no holes for open carry, no pockets for extra tools or accessories, but it is tough, durable, and extremely dependable. I know that no sheath will last forever, but I look for many years of service with this one, and when it wears out, I will order another.

Oh, also another important thing to mention. The sheaths that come with the tools tend to ride a little high on my belt for my liking, but this one rides low on the belt, so no irritation to your skin if you wear an untucked shirt.

Sorry I don't have any personal pictures, but here is a link that tells about it and there is also a picture. The sheath I have is the first one featured. The second one incorporates a loop for a mini maglite: http://www.bestglide.com/Leatherman_Sheath_Info.html
