Leatherman warrantee

:thumbup: I sent my old Leatherman for warrantee work, I had broke a couple of blades off, and dinged up most of the tools over about 15 years. Most of it was by my own abuse, trying to get jobs done in bad places with no real tools.
Well they changed out every blade, and the plier head into the old frame.
Work was done in under 2 weeks. Everything is like new.
They did a great job, no questions asked and paid for the return shipping.
I'm ready to start beating it up again,lol

15 years- so this was an original PST or something? Do I understand that they did the work at no charge to you?

25 year guarantee. no charge, but then you have to be without your tool for a couple of weeks

That's right, No Charge, might have been over 15 years, all it says on the side is
"Leatherman Super Tool". My memory is a little shakey these days, lol, could be
20 years .
I havn't used it in years do to all the broken stuff, it was a gift so I didn't realize they had a 25 year warrantee, figured nothing ventured , nothing gained.
It's better then new now, looks like the tools have an upgraded steel.

I have had three dealings with Leatherman on warranty issues and they have been absolutely fantastic every time.

One problem involved a broken pliers from a Leatheman Supertool original. They replaced the pliers and sharpened all the blades.

Another problem was a locking spring on a new Charge Xti- they fixed it and sharpened the blades.

The last problem was a broken key ring loop (my fault) on a Squirt P4- they sent me a brand new P4.

Fantastic.
