Do you think that I could get a heads up with what I should be able to use my file on? I partially sharpened a CS machete with the diamond side of the file because I didn't know if the other side of the file was for wood. Is the back side of the diamond file both a push and pull file? Softer steels won't be bad (most machetes, fisker axes, and the like) I just wouldn't use it on harder stuff. also it just cuts on the push:thumbup:

Thanks. I was looking at it under a magnifying glass, but the magnifier doesn't work so well.

Mine cuts most metals well enough and agreed only on the push. It's like a coarse and fine side. DM
