Leatherman Wave Maintainance

I just bought a leatherman wave, and im noticing that the tools inside the handle are extremely tight and can be dreadful to open. my leatherman core is quite the opposite, easy as pie to open everything. Does anyone have any suggestions to loosen the tools up? I haven tried wd-40 yet, and was wondering if this was normal for the waves?

It will loosen up over time with use

Yeah, open and close the tools 9000 times while you watch Man vs. Wild. And yeah, it is normal for some of the them to be rather stiff for a while. Better that than too loose, I guess.

I honestly don't think that they do loosen up... I've had my new styled Wave for about 2 years and it has always been a huge pain to get the main blade out...
