Has anyone else ever sent a Leatherman tool in to get "refreshed"? By that I mean just getting cleaned up, blades resharpened, etc. I have a Pulse and a SuperTool 200 that need a little rust removal, as well as a bit of tuning, and I'm wondering if they would take care of that kind of work.

I used 2003 LM's service in here Finland. One of my straight screwdrives tips had chipped on my trusty old LM Pulse. It took around 14 days and it came back, looking like a brand new, even maintained and oiled... completely free.

I sent my surge in to get the bit spring replaced and it was sent back in a very thin envelope and some how fell out or removed...leatherman is sending me a brand new one....crossing my finger hope it comes this time!

I sent my wave back because the blade stop on the knife blade was broken and it opened past vertical, i expected a new knife blade and within a week I had a new wave with the locking tools, cant really beat that

I had the same experience recently. I sent in an old Wave that was very loose and the clip blade would sometimes pop out when the pliers were folded out. Rather than just tighten it up, I was surprised that about a week and a half later, I received a brand new Wave plus a new nylon sheath!

My dad sent back a blast I think thats what kind it was it had a broken locking mechanism. They repaired it and sent it right back no question asked.

I broke a screwdriver on a knife (not a multi-tool) and they repaired it and send it back in a timely fashion.
