Even though i have one already , theyre on sale for this insane price; with 10% off and a 5.00 discount code its 39.50 shipped Theres not another fixed blade knife in the world for this price thats as good. Get em while you can !! Ive used my other one for few years; its got a much more solid guard,tang and pommel than a Kabar.And at this price ? I had to do it !
 
I grabbed couple these along with some machetes that were on sale. these leatherncks came in clam packs, but still stamped made in Taiwan. nothing i saw on package said it. blade only and couldn't see that side until clam pack was opened. had a real fear of a gsm chinese switcheroo, but thank goodness no.

all machetes are China now from this dealer. website said 1055, but no china.

Are the machetes sharpened now?
 
I don't blame you. That is a very good price on an excellent blade. I have one and have no complaints about it at all.

really........north Dakotas got lots of restrictive knife laws? I would have thought it was a free type state on weapons.....wrong thread and forum for this discussion...but that has me spinning. one of the Dakotas ain't free, maybe both...gonna have to go and look at their laws?

North Dakota is ridiculous about everything. The "tough on crime" "lawmakers" basically give the police free reign to do whatever they want. In order to keep getting re-elected by old idiots.

buy them up til gone. two I got were good and I paid 34 for them....a bargain even at 34 bucks.......

I've seen them in clam packs in a store as of last week. The antique/ knife/ gun store that had a couple is legit in their stuff. Just in case anyone had doubts
 
This is an absolutely incredible deal for $20. I don't normally love Cold Steel's sheaths or rubber handles, but both are well implemented here. Super secure grip and the hollow grind means it should be a solid slicer for a knife with such thick blade stock. :thumbsup:

Its got a thicker guard and tang than the kabar and the butt and how the tang goes in looks beefier too..
 
I've already got one in "old school" Krupp 4116, but at that price it would be totally worth trying it in D2.
