Just wanted to introduce you to a new member of the family...

The "Diotte Cleaver"

Made from S30V, black canvas Micarta Scales, Stainless Corby bolts.
Haven't had a chance to use it yet,, but it does chop like mad...

Hey Guys...

Yaaaa it's a pretty sweet knife. I used one similar to it at bear camp this past summer, and it did everything from split kindling, to removing the hind legs of a bear that had a date with an injector and a BBQ

Yaa the sheath will be cool.. Haven't started it yet,, but it will be a front break design, similar to my Busse Paul's Hatchett sheath...

Primary grind is hollow I believe...It's sharp at hell, but can chop wood without a problem..

It's got that typical Diotte feel,, really nice in the hand.. It's a big knife,, but not overly big....
I also bought knife at the top left of the table...
