So, my birthday is next week and my memory is already slipping.

I bought the micron paper from Lee Valley and don't remember which is which. The 15 micron is marked, but which one is the green one? 5 or .5 micron ?

Thanks all

15 is marked (and obvious to the touch)

5 is grey

0.5 is green

Good stuff but it doesn't last very long, even using a light touch. What are you using it on? I've used it on everything (paint sticks; tongue depressors; thick, flat aluminum sheeting; steel rulers) except what is recommended as the best backing -- glass. I have a glass tape blank for my Edge Pro that I'm excited to try it on.

Thank you kind sir. I appreciate your response.

Long ago I worked as a TIG welder for an aircraft manufacturer. Somehow I ended up with one of the parts inspectors granite surface plates. I ran across it while cleaning out the shed the other day. I thought it might be time to play around with a finely polished edge.

Thanks again
