Got to talking with Lee about each of us doing a version of eachothers designs, Me make a couple of Lee's cool folders with the Rhino flipper in a Framelock version while he makes a couple of my Sirocco's in a linerlock version since I dont make those right now. Then we trade one of each so we end up with a couple of cool knives each. After talking with him he happened to mention he had a couple nice thick blade blanks he wasnt doing anything with so he sent them out and I made one up.Here's what I came up with using his design for his SR1 folder with His designed Rhino flipper.Four inch blade of .204 thick s30v.I will get some better pics tomorrow when its finished up.I will have this one at Blade and another of Lee's cool knives so you guys can check those out in person too, even though he wont be able to make it to Blade this year, make sure you ask me to see one of his folders! Let us know what you think.
Thanks!
Matt

Hey, that's slick! I really like it. Only question I have is, with that thicky blade and the steep grinds, how does the edge geometry look? Have you done any cutting with it?

What I think is that this is an awesome collaboration! Great handle and blade lines to create a really comfortable looking framelock. A very nice look. That is one stout blade.

Lookin' mighty fine Matt, but that naked handle slab needs some "Fizz"! ;)
Got any pics of it folded? Gonna have a tip-up clip?

Best,
Frank
